Using the App in Low-Connectivity Zones

Delivery routes often take drivers into rural areas, underground loading docks, or deep inside concrete warehouses where cellular signal drops completely. Viaoga's mobile app is architected with an offline-first approach.

How Offline Mode Works

At the start of the shift, when the driver hits Start Route while on Wi-Fi or strong 4G, the entire route plan is cached locally. This includes: - Order details and customer notes - Time windows - Vector map tiles for the assigned territory

When Signal is Lost:

1. The driver can continue to mark stops as Arrived, Completed, or Failed.
2. Signatures, photos, and barcodes are saved locally to the device's encrypted storage.
3. The app will display an "Offline Mode" banner at the top of the screen to alert the driver.

Automatic Syncing

As soon as the device regains a cellular connection, the app will quietly upload all cached PODs and status updates to the cloud in the background. No manual intervention or syncing is required by the driver.
