Understanding User Roles & Permissions

Viaoga uses strict role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure data security across your organization. It is critical to assign the correct roles to your team members.

1. Tenant Admin

The absolute owner of the workspace. - Capabilities: Can access Billing, manage API Keys, and create or remove other users across the entire organization. - Visibility: Full access to all analytics, financial data, and system settings.

2. Dispatcher

The operational core of the platform. - Capabilities: Dispatchers can create routes, assign drivers, edit orders, and communicate with drivers on the road. - Restrictions: They cannot access billing, organization settings, or API configurations.

3. Driver

Drivers are the field operators. - Capabilities: Drivers have access only to the Viaoga Mobile App. They can view routes assigned specifically to them, collect Proof of Delivery (signatures and photos), and update stop statuses. - Restrictions: They have absolutely no access to the web dashboard or any data outside of their currently assigned active route.
